I once stood under a waterfall in the mountains and when the cold glacial water hit my head, it felt like my skull split open and my brain fell out. Lol. But ever since then, I've been hooked on taking cold showers after warm showers. Even in the winter...and it gets pretty cold here in NYC. But the sensation is awesome. Once you get over your preconceived notion that it's "uncomfortable" you get quite addicted to it. The sensory overload is very stimulating, both mentally and physically. Bitch

i just tried this and i liked it alot, but it made me real short of breath (i learnt in a physics lesson once that when you are in freezing water it gets harder to breathe, dont remember the specifics) so maybe not such a great idea if you have breathing difficulties? just a thought
