I bought the KDL-55EX720 five months ago in July 2011. Right out of the box it continues to work perfectly. I have not felt the need to change any of the factory setting. I have it hooked-up via an HDMI cable to a Sony BDV-HZ970W Blu-ray Home Theater System. It also had worked perfectly right out of the box. .

I second that. i heard about that before that the human eyes cannot ditinguish details between 720p and 1080p on such a small scale, only on much larger size models this is a very valuable advice sames you so much money

sony lcd panel is made by samsung.
However, even if same panel, Samsung TV design and tunning is more good.
