Shawn talked about this run on his DVD. He and Marty had left Memphis on bad terms and needed somewhere to work so they ended up here. He said he hated his time here because the crowds were small and the money was bad because Bullet Bob ripped them off. They would be back in WWE a few months/weeks after this.

why was gordon wasting away in this soon to be defunct promotion?
Nothing against continental but he should have been in wcw or wwf.
you can see at this point the crowds are dwindling.
