Currently the oldest Tube rolling stock on the London Underground. Soon to be replaced by 2009 Tube Stock.

  • Great Video, Does Walthamstow Central Station have ticket barriers?

  • Yes it does. You can't get down to the platforms without paying.

  • ok, thanks! Im not tying to avoid paying!

  • Never said you were. :) I was just answering your question.

  • the A60 stock is acctually the oldest in service

  • So it is. My bad. I meant to put *Tube* rolling stock there. The A stock always slips under my radar for some reason and I forget about it. Thanks for pointing out that blunder.

  • Good video. Did you notice the person at 0:12, she walked onto the tube and simply came off again a couple of doors later lol!

  • I wonder how many people actually realise when travelling on it that it is automatically controlled?

  • We are saying goodbye to these soon! :-(

  • it is not 1967 stock. That was silver this has paint I think.

    Good luck.

  • You have the finest underground system in the world. In Munich we have the bane of short trains which stop at the far end of the platform as you're entering the station so either you run like hell (they don't wait even if they see you) or wait 10 minutes (yes indeed) for the next train. That's ages, and a huge imposition.

  • They do that all the time they try to get to the door near the exit at the station they are getting off at before the train leaves

  • by the way do the mailn line platforms have barriers.
