power pop!!! love these guys!!!!!!

@Slammerworm1 It kind of reminds me of the early singles of the British glam rock band the Sweet. For example, "Funny Funny," "Wig Wam Bam," "Fox on the Run," and "Little Willy." They (the Sweet) released these songs at about the same time as the Raspberries did this one, at least I think.

A pop band that rocks is a fine, fine thing indeed. These guys were either a good 5-6 years behind their time (i.e. the mid-1960s pop boom) or 5-6 years ahead of their time (i.e. the new wave era), and just didn't suit the glam/metal/country rock scene of their own time. My 10-year-old self was very glad they were there, though.

Ahh, the Raspberries, Badfinger and Big Star! The golden age of Power Pop...how I miss those days.
