  • and he recorded that in the last year of his life, when he was 86. The most part of the people at that age can´t even hold a glass with water without spilling it! OMG

  • Horowitz takes artistic license and drops a measure at the end of the middle section w/ octaves (huge improvement in my opinion) and seems to ignore some of the phrasing in the left hand, which contributes to the mysterious/forgotten atmosphere of the piece. Brilliant performance of a severely-underrated piece.
