  • Great village - very nicely put together. We have a lot of the same pieces on our layout (Livingston Christmas Train Village). I'd love to know where you got the monorail system - I think I would be a great additin to our setup. Thanks.

  • @Aguila43 Hi sorry for the delayed answer, I had thought I answered your Monorail question earlier. You can find it on ebay it is called "Von Roll Mark III Monorail" if you run that on the search a few should come up. it is made by a company called E-R.

  • Hi,

What a great village! Very inspiring! I have a quick question about the train; is that the Department 56 Village Express? I'm bidding on it right now but wanted to see if that was it and if it is, what you thought of it?

We bought the lemax train and added some track but found that it didn't last long at all and other people felt the same so I'm apprehensive about buying one from a "village model" maker.

    Thanks!

  • @TO220740 Yes it is, that was a few years ago, I have since switched to the Bradford exchange trains.

They run on the same track, but are a little larger and run better. They have many different holiday trains to choose from.

  • @lpurpura thanks again for the information.... I have one more question (sorry). The elves on the pump train that go back and forth; who makes them? I've been googling them but I seem to only find a small version that has mini elves and doesn't go back and forth. Any info would be apppreciated it!

  • @TO220740 That is a dept 56 piece called "loading the sleigh, you can find it on ebay, just search "dept 56 loading sleigh"

  • Very Cool...Nice job!

  • A German company called "Brawa" sells them, you can usually find them online.

  • it is beautiful! can you tell me please where did you buy the zip line? it is awesome, i wish i can have one like this someday!!!

  • love it..one of the best ones I've seen. Love the carnival rides and booths...I have what I've imagined out in making mind and expanding over the years is an old part of town..(1880's)......a seaside with dock and maritime scenes...and a newer part of town with train and station and newer looking homes and businesses...(turn of the century).. plus a farm...My last dream of adding will be the carnival rides....LeMax has some great rides with ticket and food booths...and side show scenes...

  • @lpurpura Thanks again..... you should do this professionally! :)
