I was wondering why Kim Jong Il won't officiate the Olympic Torch event in Pyongyang. I thought he was showing disrespect to China, and where people say this event is a good opportunity for North Korea to gain a bit of international exposure, but I guess Kim has his own views and that where his political stance is concerned he is most probably isolationist (nothing really wrong with that too).

I think these western countries should watch out. They know they are not so popular around the world anymore from all their exploitations over the years. Iraq, Afghanistan, almost every African countries, India, North Korea, Vietnam, even Russia.
Now that China is doing something they are really proud of, the western countries are feeling threatened.
