I used to play one of these on the back seat of a car....must have been mid 80's.
Ran on batteries...
What do kids have now - mind numbing game machines...

I love this its like an 80's TV show theme maybe a game show or possibly about a family that adopts a girl robot from another planet in a fur coat that drives a talking spaceship and solves crimes that were committed on game shows while the little brother plays Atari and Nintendo and the older sister in high school keeps trying to date college guys.

Soo glad I kept my VSS-200.
Freakin love that thing.

@Alterstateresearcher close! the one the vss-200 uses (YM2413) was used in the master system. the genesis used a nicer yamaha chip :@)

The tone of the vss is better then the sk-1 in my opinion. Reminds me of the Sega Genesis, ....wonder if yamaha used the same chipset from the vss in the Sega Genesis.

Cool video! When I was young, my uncle got me a keyboard for my birthday and I've interested in them ever since. I remember it looked just like the SK-1, but I'm not sure if it was one. The difference I notice was that on the front top right it had a little door or window that opened up.
