Tarot is for card games! Tarot has no historical connections with astrology or Kabbalah.
Tarot is the trick taking card game that brought forth the notion of a trump suit in card games. Tarot, like contract bridge and skat, has been called the "chess of card games" for good reason. Tarot has clearly made a valuable contribution to our game playing culture. This contribution is sadly being obscured by those who continue to sell tarot exclusively as a fortune telling or divination tool. Websites such as Tarot.com, Beliefnet.com, Tickle.com and others have been misleading the general public into believing that tarot is nothing but an occult instrument. The notion that tarot cards are only used for fortune telling or the occult is completely false.

you're completely right it's not fortune telling. when i told to my friend that i knew a card game named tarot they said "???????" because they didn't knew it was a card game

@minorukun02 The problem is that our media wont tell people the whole truth about tarot cards and they were made and still are used for games.Everytime our media reports on tarot its always about fortune telling.

you're right. It's not directly related to her. but i posted it here because of the way tarot cards are usually presented. I thought it would be a good idea to show people that tarot cards were really made for games and not for psychics. There is an actual card game played in france with 78 cards called "tarot" and as you see its not fortune telling. I think its terrible the way these cards are usually presented in this country
