@shinsyotta well, yes, except that there are too many people that can't pay for healthcare and education by themselves. should we force them live unhealthy and uneducated lives since they cant pay for it? And Ron Paul seems to agree on cutting military (offensively) at least

@246alive I don't think you really understand his positions. Nobody else is proposing anything that would reduce the debt anywhere close to what Ron Paul is proposing. He is against preemptive wars.

Another way education could be funded is some kind of incubation model - training the engineers, etc of the future.

@GuitarCelloman The problem is that the majority of Republicans feel the opposite way. You want to cut military, they want to cut healthcare and education. A good compromise is to say "pay for what you want yourself". That way, nobody is forcing their way on others.
