Army Navy 2008 Trashed Annapolis

WE WERE NOT AIMING FOR THE MIDSHIPMEN.




1)We took advantage of our pilots going out for flight hours, thats how we were able to do this mission. It wasnt a waste of tax payers money, the crew would have been flying somewhere at that time anyways, so we turned it into a spirit mission. (Please note, soldiers fire live ammunition and pilots fly real helicopters to train for the real thing. They train to keep up their readiness. Sailors ride on real ships too.)

2)The Army and Navy always had a friendly rivalry. We did not want to run the risk of injuring anyone. WE WERE NOT AIMING FOR THE MIDSHIPMEN.

I'm wondering why every one is trying to point out that they missed. Obviously everyone typing has eye sight and can plainly see that they missed. And it was obviously on purpose. Everybody is like, "LOOK LOOK LOOK THEY MISSED OMG THEY MISSED." Thanks for pointing out the obvious and missing the point of the mision.

I'm currently attending USNA, and I must say, our 30 year old Yard Patrol boats are WAY cooler than your helicopter...NOT. Definitely the coolest Spirit Mission I've seen so far. I wouldn't call it a waste of money, because like the description says, it was a training exercise. Who said you can't have fun and train at the same time?

@choprjock: Stay below the tree line....low and slow....no excuses for mission failure. You caught my typos- great, but your "Aviators" still missed their mark- GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY (yet again)!

@CaptainVasily The problem was that those guys are probably use to flying down below the treeline, where the wind is minimal, not up at 25,000 ft. where everyone looks like a dot. And besides that, an Army Aviator would know how to spell "gauge". :-) GO ARMY, BEAT navy!

P.S. I also noticed that you used a lower case "a" for Naval aviator. At least you got that part right. :-)

im in the navy but that was pretty funny. there's no way anyone got hurt but it keeps the rivalry real. lol nicely done army.

My whole family has been in the army or marines so i would no barely anything about the navy, im just sayin jumpin out of airplanes is pretty fucking crazy. I do know about the SEALs and the men and woman who work on aircraft carriers, and i was wrong to say the things i said, i look at it now and feel fucking stupid. My mom graduated from USMA so i talk a lot of shit. Please accept my apology
