Part 11 starts with a visit to Fish River Canyon, and then moves back into South Africa for an overnight stay in Upington en-route to Kimberley. Finally we stayed the night at Faan Meintjies before returning to Johannesburg and home.
Species filmed at Upington are a shrike - I think red-backed, white-backed mousebird, pearl-spotted owlet, Burchell's coucal and white-backed mousebird again. At Kimberley we have black wildebeest, Eastern clapper lark and pink-billed lark.
Species filmed at our finall location of Faan Meintjies are long-tailed widowbird, Klaas's cuckoo, a lark which may be melodious, yellow canary, white-browed sparrow-weaver and finally Kalahari scrub-robin.
