andrew12345, you need to go back to the bible, because clearly there it says jesus came to establish HIS church on earth, so that it may continue, that is where religion comes in. He started it putting Peter as head of the church on earth, and he therefore is the first pope. Its all in there, he didnt come to form millions of religions, just one. That is catholicism which stands for universal. Other religions were founded by men. But catholicism is what Jesus founded here on earth.

He is trying to convince himself that he is taking the right path, but he just keeps straying away from it. He now has to brainwash himself to believe a new way of thinking, and let go of a lot of the roman catholic beliefs. He defended so vigorously the pope, and the eucharist and abortion, and noq he has to adopt new ideas. He left the church Jesus built to join a church built by a english king ENRIQUE the Eight, for the same reasons0 This king wanted to divorce and marry, de did so 7 times

@bewise08 Peter, your first "pope" was MARRIED...whats wrong with a RC priest being married as well? their is nothing in scripture requiring celibacy. The bible points to those who forbid marriage as antichrist.

@TheGreatRL actually my firend you are mistaken...the pope did not "do nothing"...he actually PARTICIPATED in the crimes of molestation himself because he PROTECTED the pedo preists by HIDING evidence and helping the pedos escape by moving them to other locations...many times without so much as telling the new parish members that they have a pedo on staff so watch your kids!

@Audinos you must be catholic...and the only things catholics talk about is why they hate protestants, especially SDA's, prayers to their "mary-god", dead people & statues, and why it was ok for rome to change the day of worship to the pagan sunday.

@rickw1100 another stupid thing about it is that they claim peter was the first pope & the church was built on him as the "rock"...funny thing is Peter was MARRIED...so why's it wrong for a priest? What is ridiculous about all of this is- that if he had been a married, Episcopal priest in the first place, who wanted to then convert to becoming a Roman Catholic priest- the Roman Church would have gladly have let him come over with his wife/children. So because of this archaic rule demanding celibacy for some priests and not for others- the Church has lost a good man. Congratulations Rome- another stupid, historical mistake made because of a "man made" rule! Time for a change.
