I found this interesting, but when I saw that it was a novel, my first thought was, "ah, another shiny dystopia. Brave New World. Logan's Run. There's some snake in the garden to provide the conflict which drives the story forward, and "Utopia" turns out to be a horrid place after all."
But now it looks like maybe there isn't a snake in the garden? A genuinely utopian novel sounds interesting.
