@musicadictor I might be able to solve your problem. I need to know what format of video you are using (AVI, MOV) wether it was shot on tape or to a card, what type of camera it was shot on (DVCam, HDVCam, DSLR), and what your laptop's capabilities are (RAM, Processor speed, number of processor cores)

hey there...i have been using vegas 8 pro for quite a long time, for fun mostly. i had it on vista and it was just fine.but now i installed the exactly same software into my laptop, windows 7 and i cant work with media, only audio. i have been looking all day for an answer but i cant find one. what can i do to fix this? i got vegas 9 pro and vegas 10 pro but i still have the same problem. enlightenment would be very much appreciated!!!!
