The TTC bus driver who thought he was riding the rocket for real!

If you thought that the TTC collectors sleeping on the job are bad, what do you say to this?
This bus driver drove on nearly a kilometer westbound on `Right of Way' streetcar tracks on Queensway (Queen Streetcar Route 501). He didn't stop until he crashed into the utility pole in the middle of the track. None of the people involved in the rescue had the slightest clue as to what the driver of the bus was trying to do. Note that these new fangled Hybrid Electric Buses cost upward of a million dollars in taxpayers money.
On this same day, a pedestrian got pinned and killed on the same streetcar route. I don't know the details so I am not blaming anyone yet.

The YRT people are worse, they do much less work than the TTC yet they expect to be paid more. And in their strike protest, they even try to slow down the TTC commute by blocking Finch Station which is completely unreasonable.

guys the ttc in toronto sucks
they are doing a 10 cent hike and service cuts but the ttc is already over priced from other transit systems and the service is sooo much slower. In seattle the subway cost about 75 cent for an adult.
Why dont they just cut the driver salaries who get paid soo much. they are not doctors or lawyers. they are not a private compant
They are stealing our hard earned tax dollars. stop the virus

Hey DoubleAgent0007 you really can't judge distance well it's around 200m from where the concrete ends and its covered by snow so if youv'e never been there before you wouldn't know that the rail is elevated

Hello @rrost01 You really think you can ride on rails without realising it whether there is a little snow or not? And what is your explanation for crashing into the pole.
You know what, he/she would have probably kept going and rammed into the first oncoming streetcar if it wasn't for the good old pole. Obviously he had never been on this route before but the only reason he ended up like this is probably because he was not sober.
