Jason has always been better than Tommy.

Tommy always needed extra power such as the dragon shield or white ranger powers while Jason's strength came from within.

Jason was the best leader and I'll always remember him for being brave enough to fight monsters on his own with ought hesitation.

@auq21 When guys are still young they have high metabolism so they don't gain weight easily. As he got older he probably lost his metabolism and didn't have to train anymore so he gained weight.

@XxHyoga87xX really can he? there aren't any videos of him doing any type of fighting. i mean im sure he still knows how to and everything but just because he's a family man isn't an excuse for the way he looks i mean he looks completely different now. he use to have dimples on his face now they are completely gone lol.

He didn't gain that much weight. He's family man now from what I hear. He can still scrap with the best of them.

it's so funny looking at this video then and looking at a current vid of him now. He was so damn cute and i had such a crush as a kid he's still not bad looking now but i wonder why such the weight gain. i cant see his cute dimples anymore. And i wish he was back on tv too he should def make a comeback

Out of the original 5 Power Rangers cast members(Jason David Frank wasn't on the cast from the first episode, so he doesn't count), only Austin St. John came into the show with martial arts training. And, out of the original six, only Jason David Frank is the better fighter today(having created his one style, Toso Kune Do.)

That's why we always had such good combat footage of Jason and Tommy; because they knew what they were doing IRL.
