  • Depends on how the parents raise you. Spanish was my first langauge and I speak it well. It's proably the only langauge I speak at home. I leared English in school.

  • ok, to all those haters, his spanish is really bad but fluent, I would say spanglish, the guy is from California at least he can communicate in another language, just think of those Italians from Jersey who don't understand or speak italian at all

  • @Chicano2078 It doesn't bother YOU, but it bothers ME. Get the difference?

  • @makavelli1289 So what I can't speak spanish but I'm not against spanglish, A lot of American Latinos speak it and it doesn't bother me. I have family members who do it somestimes. They are all multigenerational but are fluent in both languages. My dad speaks it sometimes his Mexicano father taught him spanish, While his Chicana mother taugh him english.

  • @Princeamor He's funny the way he is. If he said jokes in spanish he would lose fans and be branded a paisa. I know many Chicano's who are fluent but would think the same.

  • @rlsone100 Thank you for getting the word out. I tell this to everyone this all the time I'm born here so I'm Chicano or Mexican American not Mexican Or Mexicano. George does by both. many Chicanos some multighenerational still revert to Mexican though. I used to but I don't do that anymore. We are still of Mexican descent though so that makes us the same in a way we just come from different places.

  • @30indhira Actually I think he was bi-lingual growing up. His grandma was a Chicana, His grandpa a Mexicano but he new a little english (he said it was broken english). His spanish sounds fine to me I can't even speak it. Only Mexicans judge us Chicanos cause we either can't speak it or they say we don't speak it correctly.

  • i would think george lopez spoke better spanish, because hes speaking spanglish.. but good job!

  • Suena norteño

  • @Javlexis44 his first language was spanish, when ur raise in usa all u hear is english cuz thats the language here, it doesnt matter if u teach ur kids spanish home, they can learn it but they are going to mix also English sometimes when they speak cuz theyre used to it, that doesnt mean they dont know enlgish , it just means they know 2 languages and they can mix it if they want

  • wow he doesnt like talking spanish anymore :/
