I knew Mr Magic , this fuckin guy I got stories. I worked with him for a couple of years back in 2000. Always a funny dude. I got a lot of respect for John and all I gotta say is may he rest in peace.

Wow, I haven't heard about Mr. Magic since the 90's when he came back on the air to work on WBLS in NY. --I used to listen to Mr. Magic's show in 1980 on a station called WHBI here in NY. We waited all week for him to come on except his show didn't start until 2am in the morning! I believe it was Fri night/Sat. Morn! But it was well worth the wait!! "Sir Juice" as he referred to himself played every rap record that was NY underground! and he RIPPED it UP!! He had the ONLY spot on radio for RAP*
