The HyperMac MBP-100 Battery will extend the battery life on your Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro or Air. It'll also allow you to charge your iPod touch, iPhone or indeed any USB 5V device at the same time. Check out my review for the full details.

This was shot on the Sanyo Xacti VPC-FH1 camcorder.

  • Now that you've had this product for over 1 yr, how do you feel it's holding up? I have had my MBP 100 for over 1 yr and had to send it in for warranty repair. I honestly feel like it does not have the same performance as 1 year ago, but it's difficult to compare since I didn't do timed tests in the past like I do now. Any updates about the model you have now that time has passed, like performance problems?

  • @gaudiora Sorry I no longer have it, anyone else answer this?

  • Your video got it wrong. The port labelled CHARGE is the DC IN port and not the port for connecting the magsafe cable for powering the Mac. What results did you get ?

  • The text correction is on the video for the ports. The results are also toward the end of the video.

  • Is it my computer (it has been a little dodgy today) or is the quality a lot lower than normal (video quality that is)?

    Excellent video btw :)

  • @saxophoneman23 Also, it is still processing, so will improve when processing has completed.

  • do you need an internal battery plugged in as well? or could you use this just on its own? i'm asking because if i buy a 'dual battery charger/conditioner' and another battery...and this....then i when i have the two batteries charging, i could use this to keep things going. thanks for the vid

  • Good review. I'm quite shocked it can only fully recharge an iPod Touch 4x.

The amount of times it is able to recharge an ipod touch seem very low considering the size of the thing.

  • perhaps it's a mic?

  • gah...even the music at the beginning..it gets on my nerves XD

  • sorry but ur intro could not be more nerdier!! what on earth is that thing on that guys shirt? u need a new intro!!

  • Thank you for posting this! I asked a few people if they know of anything that can recharge my MacBook for a long trip Im going on soon...and I completely forgot about this.
