Proud to be Spanish :D

@yutn this medieval Cantiga was composed by Alfonso X of Castile (nowadays a part of Spain), or his court. In those times the Galaico-Portugués (Galician-Portuguese) language was the poetic language of the Kingdom of Castile, so the Cantigas were written in that language. I know some words and verbs in current Galician and I can say that "non é gran cousa" means, in Spanish, "no es gran cosa". So in English it would be "no big deal".
In current Portuguese is "pretty" "different".

@24jungleman uh, who?
-
@Reatbuster You brought renaissance to Europe through discoveries in the Americas!!! Why don't you dig a little bit earlier in history and find out who actually led you to discover the Americas??? who, in the first place, brought light to your country while it was under the rule of the barbarian Visigoths and was replaced by the even more barbarous inquisition after it was kicked out?
-
@HunterofDolts I wouldn't be sure whether the Iberians form one of the two main elements of Spanish population, since roman colonization of the Peninsula was a lot stronger than in any other part of the world. However, Celts certainly were.

@ImperialGuard9001 Totally agree about the language (Galaico-Portugués) but not the place (this one comes from the 'T' codex =Toledo). That's why I included as Spanish.
