jstrunck, your comment is about as useful as those of the Yahoo.com writer. Both of you need remedial education. The big question is, who will need more - the author, who needs to learn a few facts, or you, who needs to learn basic reasoning skills.

My family has earned 2 BS Degrees in Animal Science & 2 Masters Degrees in Sheep & Beef and 1 Swine Management Internship. Online employment ads are constantly seeking Sale Persons with Animal Science Degree's to market vaccines & disease prevention. Computer & Financial Analysts with Animal Science or Agriculture Degree. Also needed Nutritionists for Swine, Beef & Dairy cows. Animal Science Reproduction Specialist's. Let's not forget Agronomy = earth = fields = crop farming = grain = bread.

An agriculture degree is by far the most useless degree ever! I studied Agriculture (BSc Ag) in Horticulture and graduated with honours! Now I am becoming a heavy equipment mechanic. My apprenticeship pays more than any agriculture job ever did! (but i must say that my heart is always on the farm)
