Owning a parrot is sort of like raising a toddler your entire life. Most people can't (and shouldn't) hack it

these like all parrots belong in the wild. Its rare to find people that know how to look after them properly and are faithful owners for the life of the birds. Better to save money and travel and see them in the wild like this and film them and return home. Enjoy your footage and treasure it for a lifetime and not have the 365 days per year requirement of looking after a high maintenance pet!

I have one. They are a pain in the ass and a very attention demanding bird however i love the shit out of it and they are incredibly smart. I think if you have the time to give it the attention it needs then you'd be very very happy.

They are beautiful! Lucky you, to see them in their natural state. Most folks only get to see them in cages. I'd love to visit Mexico someday.
