Parental involvement from parents that are forced to work overtime in 2 jobs?
Things are not simple to solve...

I don't get why all the bitching...yes the government, parents, teachers, school administrators, etc. all need to step up and do better. But these school are falling apart NOW, the schools need help NOW. So in the mean time, I don't care where the hell the help is coming from as long as it is coming. IF a tv show profits from doing this, who cares, as long as the students have a decent school where they can feel comfortable in. IT IS A STEP FORWARD< NO MATTER WHERE THE HELP IS COMING FROM...

1) You deflected my question by attacking the current system rather than address the issues I brought up.
2) You committed a logical fallacy (false dichotomy). Just because the current system isn't working doesn't mean home-schooling is the "only" answer.

@calimar28 why not hire black and latino teachers, and stop lying to them, and it would be like home school.

looks like its the B team, I'm out

I think it's pretty funny that the governor of the state the school is in calls its makeover a "miracle." California is in trouble.

@xxxFaustusxxx Blacks and Latinos drop out at a 50% rate, so it aint working. More money to the schools is not the answer. The only answer is parental involvment. I like home schooling.

Well invading countries takes precedence over infrastructure, schools, etc. Its insane.
@alfredoooddd Increasing the quality of schools and therefore education is a purely liberal idea? Well that sure explains a lot about republicans.

@coffeebuzzz I pledge allegiance to the United States of America Inc.; to the profits, for which it stands, one nation, with no value, no morals, with control and belittlement over all. Amen. LOL pretty much...
