Hijo de la luna - Son of the moon
A gypsy woman weeping for her childlessness and seeks advice from the moon, "la luna". The Moon promises her a Gypsy "calé" for her husband when she leaves her (la luna) in return the first child. The child, white as an albino, was born and the man - from anger that his wife cheating him with a non-Gypsies, a "payo" - kills the mother. The child, he brings up a to high mountain, and henceforth the moon cradles her son - el hijo de la luna - in his crescent.
Eine Zigeunerin beweint ihre Kinderlosigkeit und sucht Rat bei der Mondin, "la luna". Diese verspricht ihr einen Zigeuner "calé" zum Mann, wenn sie ihr im Gegenzug das erste Kind überlässt. Das Kind, weiß wie ein Albino, wird geboren und der Mann - aus Wut dass ihn seine Frau mit einem Nicht-Zigeuner, einem "payo", betrogen hat - tötet die Mutter. Das Kind bringt er auf einen hohen Berg und fortan wiegt die Mondin ihren Sohn - el hijo de la luna - in ihrer Sichel.
