I don't really understand what the issue is with Poland and the Czech Republic wanting to place defensive missiles/radar system on their territory. They are after all independent and sovereign nations who are members of NATO. They have a right to defend their people. What does Russia have to fear from them ??? Actually, it's the other way around. The Russians have 1500+ nuclear warheads aimed at Europe.....where is the uproar over that, people.

Oh we know you pretty well, just spelling out the way things are. Russians are on the whole very prone to propaganda by their government, you are told what to think and whom to hate. I've been to Russia a number of times (not Moscow, but to a REAL Russia), talked to the people and know you pretty well. And as for cowardice, we the Poles are no appeasers and stood our ground time and again, unlike some other nations.

Look man, i live in Russia, and we do not want to take Latvia, Lithuania, Estona, Czech Republic, Slovakia - because this is all weak and poor countries ))) When we was Soviet Union we feed all this countries, called them republics etc. We dont need to do it again - rescue weak countries. We just sell them an oil - and we are happy. But Ukraine are not )))) So i repeat we will never feed another poor countries in Western Europe. We dont need them.

having lived in Poland for some time, i can for sure agree that the Polish wanted that missile defense system. NATO and the EU will break down if Russia really wanted Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland,the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Russia controls the oil to Western Europe and if they are not held in check, say by a missile defense system, then they WILL overstep their boundaries again. The shield would have protected all of Western Europe and parts of the Middle East.
