Devil's Dream is on a 45rp EP square dance record I have had for many years. There are 2 pieces on each side. Tiny Clark and the Greenwich barn orchestra play each. He announced in this band (#3) "All right, folks, line yourselves up for the Virginia reel, for the Devil's Dream". However, he made no calls throughout the entire frenetic performance. The other 3 pieces recorded had calls. When I acquired the 'net, I checked the wiki. It's not a square dance. It's a jig !

Hi, my brother and I were in Cape Breton last summer, participating in a two youth exchange between Victoria, B.C. and Cape Breton Island fiddlers. At the end of my bow I have attached a piece of Cape Breton tartan, I also have a bit of it attached to the scroll of my violin. We're going back to Cape Breton this summer, it'll be great :) Qristina
