Having backed out of the station, piloted by LMS 'Black'5 45440 (45407), Caprotti Fitted BR Std5 73129 and 9F 92203 pass through the Station with a service to Bournemouth West (Minehead).

  • This is a nice little video, I enjoyed it very much, and the way you paid attention to the various points of interest on the loco, it was great to see them, as they generally go unnoticed..thanks for posting this video

  • Thanks - I do like to get up close and see the workings properly. I am always amazed how many times I've been close to to engines of the same class to find that they are far from identical.

  • You are right there, although there was the element of mass production in locomotive assemble, there is never anything totally identical, even in the same class, I think that's why many drivers and firemen get so attatched to particular engines as if they had adopted their own particular personality, just keep doing what you are doing, you won't go far wrong. I shall be looking out for more of your videos.
