A brief tutorial on how I twist on dry hair. I always stretch the hair before twisting on dry hair. In this case I banded my hair. To twist I used Darcy's Botanicals Madagascar Cream. So do you wash your hair while in twists? How do you keep it from tangling?

@MsAlmondy I have in the past, I did not this time. I wash my hair plenty when I do twists on wet hair because I'm a swimmer. Do you mean how I do keep it from tangling when washing or when putting the twists in?

@NaturalKC Thanks for your reply! I meant how do you keep your hair from tangling if you wash it while in twists? That's usually the problem I have when washing twists.

@MsAlmondy Oh my gosh I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I didn't see this! If you still care (lol) you can band or braid your twists together in sections to help with the tangling when you wash it. I also found that putting oil on them before washing helps with tangling too.
