Nathan Cavaleri - Blues instrumental (1996)

The Australian Blues guitar virtuoso Nathan Cavaleri, approx. 14 years old,
is playing with the Geoff Harvey Band on the Midday Show, circa 1996.
The harmonized guitar part is played by Rex Goh, a Singaporean/Australian guitarist.

This video demonstrates Nathan's unbelievable skills on the Blues guitar.
Jeff Baxter of the Doobie Brothers said : "Not only he has the technique, he also has style. He plays from the soul."

Between the age of 10 and 12, Nathan Cavaleri released two professional albums : "Jammin' with the Cats" and "nathan" . A 'must have' for every Blues and Jazz enthusiast !! Visit the Discography video !
Till today, after more than 16 years, Nathan Cavaleri's abilities on the Blues guitar at this extremely young age are absolutely unique. He was not one of these usual shredders, he always played with feeling, taste and restraint.
Nathan Cavaleri mastered the Blues techniques like bending and vibrato, and mixed minor and major pentatonic scales like a professional, so that he was able to play even Jazz tunes.
Robben Ford and Stevie Ray Vaughan had a great influence on him.
Nathan acquired most of his skills on the guitar during his painful years as a Leukaemia patient. Please, look at the "talking about Leukaemia " video.

I think, this should be unforgotten. That's why i have posted this video.

Just watched camp nowhere with nathan cavaleri...it has been at least 8 yrs since ive seen it so didnt pay that much attention...just now noticed the kid playing the guitar actually was playing, come to find out its nathan cavaleri, then came to here. from the movie he is the best ive ever seen, then this...almost made me cry of joy so to speak...speechless, absolutely amazing!!!!!
