Am I the only person who really didn't like Castlevania 1 all that much? Seriously; your guy moves so slow that basically anything can outrun him, he can't change direction mid-jump, and when he's on a staircase he falls under some kind of paralysis that leaves him basically incapable of doing anything but go up or down the stairs really slowly, or get hurt and/or die.
Good music, though.

The control "issue" is the fun. You gotta know how to adjust to moving like you're made of melted legos, get over it and kick some vampire ass. Although, you are forever at the mercy of flying gorgon heads.

Yes CV have big controls "issues" which could ruin fun for some players. I liked the 2 and 3 but 1 was to hard (and inferior gameplay wise to 3).
But I love this series.
