@DillonDee1 German federal rate is 15%, but few loopholes. The average corporate tax rate in Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria (countries known for overtaxing the wealthy) is around 25%. It´s truly amazing that in America GE pays zero and a small or midsize business pays 35%. It´s a matter of fairness, not liberals vs conservatives

@PatricksTime - The US has a Corporate Tax Rate of 35%, while many other couintries have a tax rate around 30%

The diference is that in the other countiries they have to pay around 30%

In the USA there are so many loopholes they pay on average 17% - and most of the top 500 pay no tax at all

@PatricksTime - although the posted tax rate of 35% is relatively high (it used to be 50%). the effective tax rate (what they actually pay) is one of the lowest among developed countries.

And with Exxon & GE paying ZERO TAXES on billions earned -- well, you can't get any lower than that

The top 20% now has about 95% of the Financial Wealth of the country.

That means the bottom 80% only has 5% of the Financial Wealth of the country.

We are getting to be like a banana Republic.

The USA has actually been in worse financial shape - during the CW, WW1, & WW2

But we got out of those messes by increasing the taxes on the super-rich

Republican Eisenhower had a Max Tax Rate of 90% (understand this rate only applies to income above what you need to live like a Kiing)

NIxon & Ford had a Max Tax Rate over 70%

We must restore these rates on the super-rich OR THE MIDDLE CLASS IS GONNA BE SCREWED BIG TIME!

@bungerman1000 Cenk works for GENERAL ELECTRIC (msnbc) now. they make nuclear weapons out of the nuclear waste their generators create. and sell them to our government (52% of our national budget). google "GE armor piercing bullets". it's in all the helicoptors, the armed humvees,.. the soldiers have to take special meds and wear protective gear when using the guns. GE is the reason why we don't have health care. they're bankrupting us, via taxation.Cenk is a puppet.
