I like this railroad because it is the most unique, in my humble opinion. Because regular operations ceased in 1983, the WP&Y has the distinction of being the only independant narrow-gauge railroad to be completely dieselized. (The Newfoundland Lines don't count because the CN, then goverment owned, took them over before the 1940's closed.)
