HTC SuperHero w Android 2.3 (Sprint Hero w/ Cyanogen 7) (HD)

An overview of what's new in Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), using an HTC Hero (CMDA) and the custom ROM Cyanogenmod 7 (CM7). This is Part 1. Part 2 will provide a more indepth look at the enhancements made to 2.3 that have been made through the use of CM7.

hows the battery life? How many hours does it last you??

@garyaaron9 Battery life is average I'd say. If I don't leave sync on then I'd probably say 9.5 hours. I did end up buying 2 extra batteries and a charger.

What theme are you using? An the dock?

@Z3rologictech I was using the "Androidian" theme that should already be included with Cyanogen. Had to find my own background and clock though. And I'm using Launcher Pro for the dock.

@varela79 Go into the preferences > advanced settings > memory usage settings. I have "use homescreen caches" checked. Under "Memory Usage Preset" I have have the "high" option selected. Under "homescreen cache type" I the "normal" option selected. Hopefully that helps man!

@varela79 I'ma hafta find my Hero and see what settings I have. Are you using Launcher Pro? If so, it's probably something in the memory settings you have to fool around with. I'll double check though for ya.

damn dude, I have CM7 on my hero as well but DOES NOT scrool/operate as smooth as yours! Your phone scrolls very quick and smooth- mine is laggy and twitchy. Any recommendations?
