@safarigurl150 I didn't want to give the impression that I'm defending this Petra woman or her lifestyle, OR that I think she "deserves" it. I'm just saying that someone that privileged and entitled is beyond the reach of anyone's resentment, and that if she's even aware of the sniping the most it would do is confirm to her that she's the queen and the lowly commoners are just jealous. And no, she is certainly no Marilyn!!! I doubt if Petra will be world-famous and adored 50 yrs after her death.

The only reason saying those things by us "commoners" is looked at as being a "loser"is because the priorities of this society are completely misplaced. We value someone rich and famous as much better, and completely immune to criticism. Just like the cheerleaders - why? Because society validates that, especially in America, where if youre rich it justifies being stupid,arrogant and self absorbed and makes u higher instead of lower.At least in Europe where i live its less like that

no. we are people of this society, normal people, who are intelligently critiquing another claim to fame (read:millions of dollars and recognition for doing nothing) by another silly young girl who cant really do anything to change the world - when will another Marilyn or Elizabeth Taylor come along? Someone who is beautiful, smart and gives and is not self absorbed and aspires to more than being a handbag designer. yawwwn . Kate Middleton at least is better the closes to that

I love the sullen, bitter envy of the comments here, which presumably gives some pleasure to those posting them; the bad news is that, assuming this woman is even aware of what people are saying, it doesn't touch her in the least (well, maybe she gets a giggle out of it). It's like the nerds in high school sitting around and making spiteful remarks to each other about how shallow and stupid the jocks and cheerleaders are. Doesn't hurt them at all, just makes you look even more like a loser.
