Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior
Guile's Touch of Death (TOD)
aka Shadow Throw
This was done on a pc with an emulator running an arcade rom dump but no hacks of any sort were used aside from executing the exploit in the arcade rom itself just as one would in the arcade.
The official "EXACT" way of performing this glitch: (simply put) you are cancelling a roundhouse kick with a sonic boom.
Now that may seem odd if you are not familiar with the game system. So Ill break it down with all its variations:
Sonic boom charge, I dont know the exact charge timing required be it 1 second 1.5 etc but all you need is the minimum amount of charge time required to qualify for a sonic boom charge. Keep in mind sonic booms can be charged from down-back and back (walking back or blocking) and likely even from up-back.
Always have to charge away from opponent.
Regardless of which charge method you use, from a joystick perspective you move the stick to the forward position toward your opponent just like executing a sonic boom.
Just like you would hit a punch at the same time you hit forward on the stick to execute the sonic boom so goes this move as far as initial button timing. BUT the execution fact is it is roundhouse(heavy kick) first followed immediately by Fierce(Heavy Punch) In modern fighting game systems you will see this annotated as:
HK~HP .... sometimes called a "slide" from heavy kick to heavy punch, although for this move the timing is much less forgiving and the input of the punch is almost immediately following the kick, whereas modern fighting games tend to have more leniency in the timing for this type of movement.
Lastly range: This move has what appears to be an immensly large square or circular hit box, it extends to both sides of guile and into the air, it is larger than the largest ranged throw in the game (zangiefs SPD) Its Huge, maybe over 1/3 the screen!!!! but exactly I could not tell. as long as you opponent is in the hit box at the execution of the move (button press) no matter where they are on the screen or what the are doing(special move etc) by the time guile finished the throwing animation, they will take the hit/dmg.
Once you execute the button presses correctly guile is invincible to all attacks until the move finishes executing.
That is the simplest exact definition of this move. However there are more complicated variations.
While the timing between HK and HP is very strict, the actual timing of when you make those button presses during the sonic boom stick motion is very lenient, you can do it very quickly and immediately, or you can even put a delay into the HK press from when you finish the sonic boom stick motion for a delayed exection. This also allows for you to take a half step/step forward delaying execution or immediately pull back the stick after hitting forward causing guile to perform the move in the opposite direction.
You may also leverage another glitch in the game for guile using this move for even greater results. After a Strong throw (medium punch) if you continue holding in the direction of the throw and mashing a punch button guile will throw a sonic boom without having done a charge. With this knowledge, you can perform the touch of death immediately following this throw if they dont bounce too far away. whats better, is that the touch of death (invisible throw) is seen by the game as medium throw, so once youve done one execution of it you are already charged to do a second one, and can execute it before they even get up off the ground!!!!
The really nasty stuff is when you combine the ability to change the direction of the touch of death with the throw/sonic boom glitch, you can throw them from one side of you to the other and repeat over and over again and they never even get off the ground (4 touch of deaths will kill any/all characters)
I actually have a vid of this 4 TOD in my favorites by another poster.
Keep in mind this can only be done on only a handful of early arcade motherboard revisions or on a PC running an emulator that is loaded with the rom from one of the exploitable revisions.
u can see a mouse pass in the first second by knowing that this is from a computer

Yes this was done on a computer, I used an emu to play specific roms from the original arcade, only certain arcade versions did this work on and the corresponding rom dumps, there was no computer hacking of any sort to perform this, this moved can be done on the original arcade boards and their respective roms, so no its not fake....
