I think free speech is fine as long as you don't do it in public.

  • FREE SPEECH IS FREE SPEECH PUBLIC OR NOT. SHE HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY WAHTEVER SHE PLEASES JUST LIKE ANYBODY THAT LIKES BUSH SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAY IT IN PUBLIC TOO.

  • @Therealmensa SO the reason behind the comment, and taking a person's rights out of context allows you some moral ability to say when someone can or can't have their rights...I see. Talk to me again when your head is not squarely in your ass.

  • This latecomer to the hippie scene was from Texas. Her mother said she always demanded special attention, even if it was for bad behavior. As a singer, Columbia had to over-dramatize her character, mix her voice heavily, and it took extreme publicity stunts to get her enough attention to sell the albums she sang on. She had a terrible voice, but Columbia sold an image to agenda seekers (hippies) that they bought. As a result, she is legendary, even tho she was marginally talented

  • 25 years later, Sony took a similar formula to make money with another Texas girl. A marginal singer with connections, Sony placed her with two extremely talented but conventional C&W artists who were already opening for the biggest names in the business. Over two years, they improved her voice and taught her basic guitar. Sony recruited several songwriters and professional musicians to create albums with these three girls as front women. Trailer trash Nat overcame all this help to fail them.

  • Americans are fucking crazy ass people.

  • This girl said the truth.

I wish I could slap everyone who got mad by her words. Go to hell fuckers.

  • America - the country where you can say anything and get killed for it

  • Freedom of speech my ass. America is one of the worst when it comes to tolerating other peoples opinions, especially in the southern part of America.

  • It is not uncommon for fanatics to make someone's career bigger in death than it ever was in life (if I can paraphrase a Kennedy). In this case, Natalie contributed by her delusional bashing. Lyrics in "Lubbock or Leave it" say maybe they will erect a statue to her like they did Buddy Holly. Later, she goes on record to describe the song as being about "any hypocritical town". The WTF factor is off the charts here. Guess why her father moved out of Lubbock!

  • @lynelizabeth29 They MADE good music. They haven't been about the music since 2003. Enjoy the music, but don't tell anyone to shut up, you sanctimonious ass-clown.

  • @c1gunter85 Was she ahead of her time when she earned her first dollars as a Dixie Chick? In their newsletter of the time, they announce their playing for the Texas Governor's election ball. By their own definition, they were playing for the "whiter, brighter, George W Bush". I wonder if the latecomer idiots like you can justify that? Was it racist (whiter) and idiotic (brighter) for them to say that? LOL. You show up late, buy the DC propaganda, and bash anyone with a differing opinion. Fail.
