Armed with a hi8 Sony camera, plenty of free time, a Michael Myers costume and a love for cinema, Latin American misfit Joe Pineda (me) has filmed a short love letter to his recent horror movie obsession: Halloween!
In all honesty, I used to be a big snob, watching only art films and looking down on everything else until I began to appreciate movies as a more dynamic medium aiming to entertain. My opinion of things changed after watching Sam Raimi's THE EVIL DEAD, the first of many horror movies I had now begun to love. Everything else after that was history, particularly the part where I was completely blown away by James Rolfe's "CineMassacre 200".
Okay. Just kidding. That was a huge factor too.
This video was made with no intention to make profit, as it is a tribute not only to HALLOWEEN, but to movies in general and the people who work so hard to give us a good time. Here's hoping to do more fun projects in the future!
HALLOWEEN, MICHAEL MYERS, ROB ZOMBIE'S HALLOWEEN soundtrack and everything else is the property of their respective owners. This includes John Carpenter, Tyler Bates, Rob Zombie and everyone who has worked with this franchise. Don't sue me, you guys!
Yes. I'm basically hiding from myself in this movie. Does that have a deeper meaning? MAYBE.
How did you get the video off the hi8 Sony camera. I have one but I'm not sure how to get the file onto a computer.

You need either a Firewire cable and a computer with that connection, or a video converter like mine. I used the ADS DVDXpress.
