  • Beginning of the song is missing. Why?

  • @atty1chgo everything sounds fine to me. This is how it is on the album

  • Very nice post, Miles was a genious, jazz fusion is perhaps the best music style there is next to baroque pop.

Have you heard "Third" by The Soft Machine btw? If not, you should check it out.

  • I'm not a big fan of the soft machine or that whole canterbury scene

  • Love this album. Definitely served as an inspiration for Talk Talk's Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden (two of my favorite albums ever).

  • @PerryCoxPF93 You're insanely crazy! I respect your opinion but I repeat, you're insanely crazy! Lol..

  • I did a video in honor of this awesome and heavy song on my page. Check it out and let's keep spreading this good music to all generations!

  • I`m drunk and when I think about to disrespect death musicians I`m really afraid to be smitted by god himself! Love Miles Davis!

  • This is sublime.

  • I guess it's 'mellow' in the sense of falling into the subconscious, some kind of bizarre half dream state. It definitely is not peaceful, though.

  • The three disc set has a cut on Disc 2 of Shhh/Peaceful - timed at 19:17. Not the LP version, which is one Disc 3. the alternate take, I would argue, is way better. I just never listen to the LP version, that's why I was confused.

  • You know what... I was thinking about the alternate cut with the different intro from the 4 disc set (or is it 5?) I like that one better. The one with the McLaughlin guitar. Do you know which one I am talking about?
