Chon-Ji Hyung (천지/天地) (also Chon-Ji tul or poomsae) is an official pattern of the International Taekwon-Do Federation. It consists of 19 movements and is normally the pattern done by white belts, the first hyung that Taekwon-Do members will learn.
Nicely done. He did it right. I hate it when people criticize others like the way they do it is better. Everyone was taught differently. Have you forgotten the meaning of martial arts?
People have to remember that Taekwondo is a young and progressive martial art, the minor differences in forms such as chon-ji are there as a result. The importance with chon-ji lies in the balance and stability of the stance and the use of reverse power in the punches and blocks.
Though, I'm sorry to say, you bent your knee when performing your final middle block, making it (I believe) a sitting stance. Other than that, it was perfect, very well timed.
