More than an alternate ending this would be a kind of extension (totally unnecessary) of the last chapter....anyway I belive you guys figured out very well what would Ignatius do on his way to New York....although I would have loved to read about Ignatius adventures in NY (in case he reached the big apple) I love the open ending of the book, great book, great ending. Grettings from Mexico guys.
