Bush Joke Video: DC Humor in Bad Taste

In light of the killing of 5 marines and 4 private contractors in Iraq on 3/31/04, we thought it would be appropriate to repost this video by Jason for America. If you missed it last week, Bush attended the Radio and Television Correspondent's Dinner and made a few jokes about our failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Pretty poor taste, if you ask us, when our soldiers are dying for his mistakes. Jason pulled together some clips of Bush's dinner speech and juxtaposed them with some not so pretty pictures from the front. Check it out.

Silver, the video is about Iraqis dying as well. It is hard to say anyone deserves to die. I think this world is so f'ed up by the likes of GWBush, most people don't know the potential of their empowerment or life; especially 18 yr. olds who join the army believing their government is good.

It is very possible anyone of us at that age and lack of social support would do the same.

We can't change human nature. We have to change the human condition.

Guess what soldiers have been doing long before bush was even born? give up? dying, a soldier knows his/her life is in parrell when they sign that paper and for people to accuse a President of pulling the trigger is absurd, the only way Id get on your side with this is if he was sending 10 yr olds over to die instead of soldiers, I had family die in wars last thing im gonna do is bitch at a president for their death, This country has become so weak that we have to put blame on one man

FYI, this is incorrect. The actual verse is urging people to repent, to pray, and to give to the poor. An email went around with the phony quote about the eagle, but it is a hoax.

If we are to have any hope for peace, we need to deal in truth for the sake of the planet.
