Part 1 of the transcript of a radio interview with Lt Col Frank Bourne who fought at the Battle of Rorkes Drift on 22/23 January 1879. The transcript of the interview was published in the Listener magazine on 30 December 1936.

  • @ankleshigh I appreciate your kind words. The BBC threw away a recorded interview with Bourne many years ago as they thought it would be of little interest. It would have been wonderful to hear Bourne speak. I've got some similar accounts from other men who fought so I'll try to put together videos for them at some stage too.
