OETA, Oklahoma's Public Television, produces a daily statewide newscast. It is one of the very few PBS affiliates to do so. The Oklahoma Report dates back to 1980. It relies on news footage and packages from newscasts in Oklahoma. It is targeted specifically to the many parts of the state not able to receive the Tulsa or Oklahoma City stations. Kansas City viewers will see a brief clip of Gary Leezak, now on KSHB 41.
That OETA sign at the very beginning of the clip sure brings back memories.

That's Tom Gilmore and Jan Lovell who anchored this newscast until the early 1990's. Lezak went on to KWTV where he anchored the morning and noon weathercasts until moving to KC in the early 90's. OETA used this news set for a looooooong time.
