See the new generation of Traktor DJ software in action in this video, now powered by "Traktor 2 Technology Inside" for absolutely intuitive ease of use and unlimited creative possibilities.

The brand-new user interface with enhanced TruWave colored waveforms with 4 different color schemes to choose from lets you differentiate kicks, hi-hats, snares as well as the track's energy level at a glance.

Used with Traktor Kontrol X1 controllers as you can see in this video, the power over using Traktor's hotcues, loops and effects is literally at your fingertips.

The new Sample Decks in Traktor Duo 2 and Traktor Pro 2 provide perfectly integrated control over loops and one-shots. With the additional Loop Recorder, 4 new tempo-syncable effects (more than 30 in total) and expanded customization options, Traktor Pro 2 is the new flagship software that also powers the Traktor Scratch Pro 2 digital vinyl system and the Traktor Kontrol S4 all-in-one DJ system by Native Instruments.

  • The song is Lady Miami - Don De Electro house music

  • @JohnInSeitz

The DJ still has to make the action, make a music choice, select the tracks and must make the music sound good and make a lot of tricks. As you think a SL1200 is the only "real"DJ choice, you must have a problem with facing the future.

I personally have SL1210,s and Traktor control S4 and a Maschine. It's an addition for the DJ, not a simplification.

    You should try it :)

  • Just started using Traktor Pro 2, controlling with Pioneer DDJ-T1.

I used vinyl for about a year (Numark TT-X USB decks with M3 Mixer) and have to admit I was sceptical at first about making the jump to digital, but I'm so glad I did.

There's nothing more satisfying than remixing tracks on the fly, improvising, looping, mixing, adding effects as you go along. So much fun, and so addictive.

  • Analogs are great, but the new generation of tools djs now have access to makes everything much more organized and connected. Yes it may be easier to SOME extent, however it doesn't mean some 14 year old kid could produce something that professionals could just by using these new tools. I would be amazed if they could even afford them. If you think using the "veteran" tools is so much better, go back to the '40s and get a pair of gramophones.

  • Evolve or Die

  • @djrobbeno i'll tell u where this will end up......in an meaningless environment where even a monkey could do the mixing....any idiot....and get stratosferically overpaid for it. or even worst.... a dj-less club.......a club with a computerized juke-box....A ROBOT DJ !

  • @djrobbeno i couldnt disagree more. don't know what dj's u are talking about. Real djs....the ones that put passion and love and effort and skill do not rely on digital mockery. they use audio effects on top of ANALOGUE vinyl, using as tools their brains and hands to beat match and play around with mixer/eq.real sound, real input..real outcome.HOW CREDIBLE do u think the scene is going to get if toys will do evreything for u?where's the skill in that?where' the genious touch?where's the FUN?

  • @djrobbeno I'm not saying I agree that people shouldn't use controllers, but one of the most crucial points of mixing is the ability to beat match. With this new technology people are now able to press a sync button and let the software do it for them. Veteran DJs feel cheated when a kid shows up to play with nothing but a $50 controller and auto syncs through a set. I use a midi now, but I learned on decks it has helped me a lot in the long run.

  • @TheDJParadiso if the so called 'veteran dj's' hate it's because they are unable to move ahead, dj ing has long stopped about standing there like a knob mixing songs together , today you perform live using controllers and make the music as you go, even people that still use turntables use software. Turntables are on their way out completely. It's move ahead or get out of the game.

  • @MiKeY09936 I would recommend getting turntables and a mixer, as well as a Traktor soundcard, but if you want something made JUST by native intruments, get an s4, but prepare for a wave of hate, because veteran DJs hate newbies who use midi controllers.
