Are you kidding? It's the Democrats who are doing this for power. They want to be able to say in all future elections "Republicans will take away your health care". Democrats don't give a damn about people's health. Hell, for the 1.5 trillion they want to spend on this power grab in the next ten years, you could buy private insurance for all the uninsured for the next 25 years. The real plan should be to get rid of the leftwing trial lawyers who drive the price of malpractice insurance.
