I've finally pulled my electric scooter out to be fixed.. and I'm upping the speed controller, then I go for an adventure through some of the coolest Shenzhen urban villages.

Hey I have a GIO 500 Watt Ebike and the controller recently broke on it, I was just wondering what controller you are using and where I can order it. I'm from Ontario Canada and there isn't a bike shop to be found around here at all for this sort of thing... I also have two 500 W hub motors and I was wondering if it's possible to use one as the front wheel alternator to recharge the battery while the bike is in motion. Anyways, any help would be amazing, Thanks!

@MaximusHardness Well that sure is an interesting Idea (putting one motor on the front), but that wouldn't work, the tiny amount of charge you'd get wouldn't be worth the amount it drains from the battery by offering so much resistance :) All the best speed controllers can be bought online on a site called taobao, so just to go taobao dot com and well it's all in Chinese so I suggest using google translate, I'm using a pretty cool 800w controller, can't remember the brand, but I'll make a vid :)

What's your bike called? What company makes it? They seem to have more added features than the E-bikes we're currently getting in the west.

@zanydeath Well it's a generic body (there are sooo many brands) and a generic second generation 500w motor, I put in the new speed controller and new battery as well as all the turbo wiring etc.
