i think it's funny when people hate on american cars. corvettes dont always go into passong gear. some of them when you floor them they just drop one gear. if you get on it easy then hard it will go into passing gear.

its probably an ls1 vette, nothing against em but an ls1 vette is definitely not the fastest car out there. i was going to buy one until i test drove it and it was slower that the trans am i was originally looking at

Ok I own an 04 GT so I'm not taking sides here but there had to be something wrong with that Corvette to get smoked like that. I don't know how the driver could affect the race that much in an automatic. Maybe he left the parking brake on...
