In May 2007 over 25,000 women ran the streets of Casablanca in La Course Feminine. This film captures the voices of these women and visits two local associations working to readdress gender imbalances in sport in Casablanca. The film was planned and shot by complete beginners in film, a team of sports development workers from around the world and members of the Association Initiative Urbaine, L'Heure Joyeuse and Adel Warif. The participatory video training was carried out by Insight at the Gender Equity in Sport for Social Change conference. This event was sponsored by Nike through Women Win,in collaboration with L'Association Marrocain de Sport est Development, SAD, NCDO and Mama Cash.
